Proper aftercare ensures smooth healing. Our team is always available if you have questions.

Reduce Swelling

• Take ibuprofen for first 7–10 days (unless contraindicated)
• Swelling is normal in the first week

Hands Off

• Do NOT touch, twist, or spin jewelry
• Do NOT remove jewelry during healing
• Only touch when cleaning with clean hands

Cleaning Instructions

Option 1: Sea Salt Solution

• ½ tsp sea salt + 20oz distilled water
• Store in fridge, shake before use
• Clean 2–4 times daily

Option 2: Sterile Saline

• Use NeilMed Wound Wash
• Clean twice daily

No alcohol, peroxide, or ointments

Keep Products Away

• Avoid soaps, cleansers, cosmetics on piercing
• Don't sleep with wet hair (ear/face piercings)

Healing Tips

• Wash hands before cleaning
• Avoid pools, hot tubs, lakes
• Be mindful of snagging on clothing/towels
